Oscar de la Renta's Spring 2013 show was the highlight of Bridal Market for many of the editors covering the runway collections, and with good reason. The designer's most recent offering truly signaled an evolution in bridal fashion. Tulle, typically reserved for ballgowns, was fashioned into an angelic cape used to accessorize a form-fitting embroidered stunner (above), blue satin faced organza formed the elaborate train on a white floral guipure gown, there was even a crop top in the mix (paired with tailored tuxedo pants). De la Renta held true to his signature romantic aesthetic with luxurious textures and floral elements but he took this particular collection one step further with a dreamy colour palette and show-stopping accessories -- a true work of genius.
