Last week at MasterCard World Fashion Week in Toronto, Paraezo Couture brought some beautiful bridal magic to the runway. Designer Bruce Dang presented his spring collection, a lineup of feminine silhouettes trimmed with gorgeous details including feathers, beading, rosettes and glittering crystal accents. Paraezo Couture was started by Dang in 2009 and this show marked the label's runway debut. For the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, Dang showcased a wedding gown collection inspired by nature and featuring interesting shapes, materials and embellishments.
Virtually all of the wedding gowns Dang showed on the runway were strapless, save a few that had delicate spaghetti straps or a single assymetric strap. Sweetheart necklines complimented mermaid ruffle skirts, rosette-trimmed ball skirts and sweeping trains, one of which had an exquisite crystal beaded motifs that sparkled and shined as it glided down the runway. Many of the dress bodices at Paraezo Couture were crafted of delicate lace and crystal giving them a racy edge. Dang certainly saved the best dress for last—a dramatic satin bubble hemline gown, that featured beautiful ruching on the bodice and mega-sparkle thanks to crystal detailing under the bustline and along the bottom of the hemline, just before the bubble. We'd be remiss not to talk about the stunning beauty looks at Paraezo Couture. The fresh floral headpieces were the picture of romance and the springtime fresh makeup created by Grace Lee, lead artist for Maybelline New York was simply stunning.
