Tomorrow morning I’m leaving on a jet plane bound for one of my all-time favourite cities in the world—New York City. I’ll be all about town on official WB business—covering the Fall 2010 bridal collections.
Bridal market happens twice a year in N.Y.C. (April and October), and for several days each season the city is awash in all things wedding-related. From intimate one-on-one appointments with designers to lavish runway shows, there’s plenty of ways to get inspired. Last April I spent several sunny days in the Big Apple, and I came home brimming with ideas. Some of my favourite moments? Sitting front row at Oscar de la Renta (so close I could hear the skirts swishing past), having lunch at the Vera Wang showroom while getting up close and personal with her exquisite creations, and wandering around Reem Acra’s fanciful life-size dollhouse (pictured). I’m excited to see what the designers have cooked up for next season, and I can’t wait to share it all with you. Speaking of which, check back here every day next week to find out all the scoop!
