Canadian label NARCES is a perennial favourite of ours because it's always innovative, inspiring, luxe and simply stunning. Designer Nikki Wirthensohn Yassemi presented her latest lineup as part of Toronto Fashion Week in a stunning presentation at the ROM, and the show was equal parts drama and classical, modern beauty. The label is, of course, famous for the incredible wedding gowns Yassemi creates, which always come with a modern twist and push of traditional bridal boundaries—this season was no different. From jumpsuits to gowns with billowy illusion sleeves, plunging necklines and a stunning hi-low hemline gown complete with oversize bow to close the show, there truly was a look for every style of bride. Yassemi also showed an incredible lineup of evening and occasion wear and if you are a bride looking for something extremely different (hello neon, red, overside rosettes, ruffles and colour blocking!) NARCES likely has the perfect alternative wedding dress for you.
