The "Antoinette" shoe by Pour la Victoire.
I noticed you ladies have been loving all the shoe-related blog posts lately, so I thought I'd add another one to the mix! This shoe caught my eye several months ago while I was doing some web research, and it was definitely love at first sight.
This Pour La Victoire shoe, appropriately named "Antoinette" (in honour of Marie Antoinette, I'm assuming), definitely gives a nod to vintage inspiration, but is thoroughly modern at the same time. I'm a huge fan of the row of bows, the super-pointy toe (currently very, very en vogue) and—last but not least—the baby blue sole! How cute is that??? Speaking of which, the other day while I was out sourcing for a photoshoot I got into a discussion with a couple of ladies about wedding traditions, and one of them seemed to think that brides no longer worry about having "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue." I, on the contrary, think this tradition is still very much alive and kicking—what do you say? Will you be wearing "something blue" on your big day?
