Tick, tock! It’s almost Mother’s Day. Well, getting something for your mom should be a cinch—you already know her likes and dislikes. The question is: what do you get your future mother-in-law? Here are my four suggestions for four types of moms:
1) The Beauty Mom: Go to Sephora (sephora.com) right now, and you’re guaranteed to receive the gift in time for Mother’s Day if you order before April 29 (11:59 P.M. PST). They have everything from fragrance sets to limited-edition skincare products. My pick would be the Pacifica Lotus Garden Travel Set, which is approximately $14. 2) The Fashionista Mama: I haven’t been to coach.com in a while, and it seems they’ve re-designed their website. I’m definitely eyeing these wristlets (pictured left), which range from $78 to $128—classic staple items, non? 3) The Book Lover Mother: Chapters has an online Mother’s Day Gift Shop categorized into book club reads for mom, cookbooks, and music and DVD gift ideas. 4) Monster-in-law: Yes! I know. Sometimes we’re dealt with the impossibly hard-to-please moms. I think a more generic gift like a spa certificate (how could anyone not be pleased with a massage?) or treating your future in-law to her fave restaurant is the best gift to give.
