“Endless Love” is the theme of Morilee’s fall 2018 collection, and the romantic, timeless designs reflect it perfectly. The collection has something that will appeal to nearly every bride, with a full spectrum of silhouettes and a generous mix of fabrics — tulle, crepe, lace, satin, and taffeta all make appearances. Designer Madeline Gardner sought to express “subtle glamour” this season, giving each gown its own distinct style of adornment and point of view. Scrolls of embroidery wind down the length of a crepe slip dress that flares below the knee. A princess gown with a voluminous pleated skirt is made all the more regal coupled with a bodice of sparking lace. A champagne pink ball gown is overlaid with wavy lines of shimmer on tulle, which shimmy with hypnotic effect as it moves. Back details are a repeated feature, either through illusion lace designs, sexy diamond-shaped cutouts, or tight rows of covered buttons.
