Playful hemlines and elaborate textures filled Monique Lhuillier's most recent bridal collection. With layers of tulle and a romantic colour palette of of blush, sage, ivory, pale grey and latte, the Fall 2016 line was inspired by an opulent garden. Lhuillier's signature ultra-feminine gowns featured intricate beading and embellished sleeves, plunging necklines and scooped low backs. Voluminous satin organza, Chantilly lace, fluid silk and embroidered lace silhouettes were also modernized with detachable skirts that transform gowns from floor-sweeping ceremony gowns to flirty, reception-appropriate party dresses in an instant.
