Marchesa Fall 2016 Wedding Dresses

  |   By Jen O'Brien

Since establishing Marchesa in 2004, founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have built a reputation for crafting incredibly romantic and luxurious wedding gowns and the duo's Fall 2016 collection is no exception. The new line marries cascading layers of illusion lace with sheer, open-backs and cut-out details, creating lightweight, airy silhouettes. Necklines are artfully bejewelled to frame the face, while curve-hugging bodices highlight intricate, architectural threadwork. All of this is to be expected from Marchesa, but what's new for Fall 2016 are the complementary accessories. Along with the new collection of gowns, Chapman and Craig unveiled their first bridal shoe line – a collection of covet-worthy laser-cut sandals and bejewelled flats. The pair also previewed their new line of bridal jewellery, which features shimmering goddess-inspired hair combs, bracelets and statement earrings.
