Mane Attraction

Mane Attraction

I spent some more time with ET Canada host and bride-to-be Cheryl Hickey last week, shooting some video footage for our website featuring her gown shopping and at Toronto’s Marc Anthony Salon having her hair trial. While in her stylist’s chair, Cheryl shared that she is on a serious health-boosting regime for her hair leading up to her October 18th wedding, as the lights, camera and action of her glam red-carpet life can at times leave her locks feeling a little lacklustre.

As a fellow bride, I’m sure you can relate to Cheryl’s quest for gorgeous hair on your wedding day. I have a secret weapon to share with you, a product my friend Laura, who’s publisher of Salon Magazine, passed along to me last week to test out—I’ve been using it for just a week and honestly, my red head has never looked so fabulous. Moroccanoil is a little miracle in a bottle. This delicious blend of Argan oil will infuse your hair with unbelievable shine, nourish your hair and scalp and protect your locks from UV damage. A wee drop of oil applied to damp hair is all you need—work it in from root to tip then style as per usual. You will be absolutely amazed at how fabulous your hair looks and feels—I guarantee it will become an everyday (not just bridal) beauty basic in your grooming kit. To find out where to buy it where you live, visit moroccanoil.com. On the subject of hair stuff, I’m off to meet Kate Hudson today who’s launching her new eco-friendly line of hair-care products to Toronto editors. Details to come on Monday!
