It was a great opportunity to stop and think about the direction that destination weddings are taking, and it’s certainly a positive one. Carly Roney, founder of The Knot, reported that 20 per cent of all weddings are now destination weddings! Great news for all you couples considering this route—it’s a growing industry, which means more and more options will become available. Having worked on hundreds of luxe destination weddings, I’m so excited with the direction and sophistication being awarded to this segment of the wedding world.
