Taking inspiration from Scottish illustrator, Jessie M. King, Lela Rose created an incredibly romantic and timeless collection. King's late 19th century art nouveau illustrations are reflected in gowns that are both modern and fanciful with corded lace, crystal dusted embroidery, and hand crafted matelassé details. Low backs, keyhole cut-outs and dainty buttoned lace backs gave this otherwise demure collection a sexy edge.
The standout gown in Lela Rose's new line features a corset top, feather skirt and a swath of tulle across the bodice. Overall, this ensemble of dresses is enchanting and alluring, accompanied by intricate bead-work, floral embroidery and gorgeous lace ornamentation.
