Kim Kardashian Gets Engaged!

Last October, Kim Kardashian was in Toronto promoting a spectacular 22-carat diamond engagement ring by Michael Hill (read my post about the event here), and I can't help thinking that sparkler was a good luck charm! At that time, Kardashian, who referred to herself as a "hopeless romantic," was yet to meet Kris Humphries (who is now her fiancé!). Fast-forward several months, and Kardashian is newly engaged to Humphries, a New Jersey Nets forward. Humphries wisely turned to Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner for help picking out the ring, and he popped the question at Kardashian's Beverly Hills home with a custom 20.5-carat diamond ring by renowned jeweller Lorraine Schwartz. According to People magazine, Humphries only had one criteria for the ring: "I just knew I wanted it to be big." To that we say, mission accomplished!
