Jenny Packham showcased her Midwest-inspired spring 2017 collection against a barnboard backdrop complete with wagon wheels and bales of hay. Though the setting is rural, the dresses are anything but, with elevated details like bell sleeves, floral embroidery and beaded fringe, which instantly transforms them from down-home to boho-chic. A palette of demure off-whites give the collection a vintage feel, while artfully placed metallic accents add a touch of modern-day glamour. Among the standouts are the Lucky, a champagne-coloured cap sleeve gown scattered with crystallized stars, and the Apache Celadon, a long-sleeved jade green dress dotted with pink bejewelled flowers.
