Is grey the new black?

  |   By Roseanne Dela Rosa

Last week I was speaking to Nicole about colours and trends for 2009, and we both agreed that grey for weddings is going to be big.

No.

Is grey the new black?

Just like black, the colour is beautiful, neutral and looks fabulous on any skin tone. I then asked her about bridesmaid dresses (since I’ll be in two bridal parties this year), and she casually mentioned how she loved Lela Rose’s cocktail dress with the rosettes at the neckline. When I found the style on Dessy (dessy.com), I too fell in love with it. You can’t see it here, but the back is really sexy because it plunges down. I chose to view the dress using their colour swatch in charcoal gray, but this dress is literally available in more than 10 colours. And if you’re not the halter type, but love the rosettes, Lela Rose also has a similar gown with a scoop neckline.

P.s. Tune in tomorrow for a recap of all the lovely ideas I scouted from the Wedding Co. Show over the weekend.
