Ines Di Santo Spring 2018 Wedding Dresses

  |   By Emily MacCulloch

For her latest collection, Ines di Santo played up themes of elegance and simplicity. The spring 2018 collection was a perfect marriage of classic silhouettes paired with unexpected details and sultry touches thanks to sheer bodices and plunging necklines. "While perhaps my idea of simple is still influenced by my Italian and Latin heritage, this season became a dance with the artist and the editor in my mind," said Di Santo. "Not a stitch more than what was needed, yet full license to push a design that was simply more."

The line stayed true to a pure white colour palette, save for the last gown that hit the runway. The Easton is a rich, satin ruby dress with a sweetheart halter neckline and a dramatic modified trumpet silhouette. Other standout pieces included the Kensington gown, a lace ballgown with a tiered skirt and a cathedral train and the Elodie gown, a strapless dress with a sheer embellished bodice and peplum skirt. For brides that prefer a slinkier silhouette, there's plenty to choose from. The Elora, a lace sheath gown with a low V-back and a detachable cathedral ruffled overskirt and the Blake dress, with a sleeveless plunging neckline and illusion detailing, is sure to satisfy.
