Modern-day princess brides will certainly be swooning over Ines Di Santo's Spring 2014 collection, especially the larger-than-life ballgowns with multi-layered skirts and tailored bodices. However, brides looking for something less voluminous won't be disappointed---Di Santo also included chic fit-and-flare silhouettes, glamorous mermaid gowns and flirty knee-length frocks in the lineup. Luxe lace was a central theme of the collection, as well as sparkle. Indeed, several gowns twinkled from head to toe, while others were adorned with strategically placed beading and sequins (one expertly draped silk dress with an ornate illusion back comes to mind). Di Santo also introduced a warm shade of golden ivory to the collection, a fresh take on the pastel colour trend, and played with peplums and other dramatic shapes.
