With the launch of the KISS New York Professional makeup in Canadian retail chains Rexall and London Drugs, we had the opportunity to chat with Patrick Ta, celebrity makeup artist extraordinaire who's buffed and bronzed the skin of everyone from Victoria's Secret models to the Kardashians and the Hadid sisters.
According to Ta, every bride should wear makeup that enhances her natural features. "A bride usually wants to look classic on her wedding day," Ta says. "She should look like herself. No bride should look back at her wedding day and think: 'Why was I wearing blue eyeliner?'"
The most important feature? Glowing skin. Ta's signature glow is something he envisions for model Gigi Hadid's wedding day. "I would make sure she looks glowy, define her eyes with a bit of shadow and liner and call it a day," Ta shares. "She doesn't need a lot of makeup."
But there's one celeb client Ta has in mind who would go for a more adventurous makeup look--Puerto Rican supermodel Joan Smalls. "I could see her going for a more bold look since she loves to experiment with her makeup," Ta says.
