In the last couple of years there has been a lot of buzz about lash growth serums, mascaras, extensions, and the like to help elongate your eyelashes. I'm not lucky enough to be graced with long lashes, so a product that promises fuller, longer lashes -- yes, please! RapidLash ($60), an over-the-counter serum available in Canada at drugstores like Shoppers Drug Mart, spas, skincare professionals and other retailers, has been out for a couple of years now. Most recently they came out with the study to back their claims that yes, this serum will help your brows and lashes grow!
The serum is really simple to use. All you do is swipe the brush on the base of your upper eyelashes -- the way you'd apply a liquid eyeliner. If it's your brows that need the filling (put down that tweezer!), then all you do is brush the serum over the area where you want the growth. You only need to use the serum once a day -- any more is redundant -- and can be done under your makeup. Typically you won't see results until you've used the serum daily for about 4-6 weeks, then to maintain you'll need to apply daily.
If you have a plucking disaster that needs to be fixed or you find your lashes are really short and fine, then I would recommend using this product leading up to your wedding. For those of you who just need a little boost, getting falsies for the big day will do the trick just fine!
