Green Day

This Jade nail lacquer by Chanel has been all the buzz in the beauty world since editors spied it on models tips during the fall collections. The bad news for us Canadians is that this limited edition shade is not available here at home. The good news however is that OPI is on the verge of launching what I think is an even better green polish. This week I attended the press launch for OPI’s Hong Kong collection, which hits salons this January and one of the coolest shades, is Jade is the New Black. Darker and richer than the Chanel shade, I of course immediately had to test drive this gem-tone polish. Results have been somewhat mixed but for the most part people love it. Even my mister was impressed with it. “Too much?” I asked flashing him my mani. “No, you can totally rock it.” Though I would not recommend Jade is the new Black for your wedding day nails I think you should totally rock it for at least one or two pre-wedding parties.
