Once again, Galia Lahav has produced an incredibly fashion-forward bridal collection, “Dancing Queen” (yes, it’s named after the beloved ABBA song!). The label’s head designer Sharon Server shares this collection is an homage to a woman’s artistic heart, independent spirit and freedom to make her own choices in the way she represents herself.
Style standouts of the bold and beautiful collection include airy overskirts, detachable petticoats, sheer capes and delicate draping. Gowns feature big volume without bulk. The label shares the collection was inspired by two famed ballerinas—Russian Anna Pavlova and Italian-Argentine Alba Arnova—and the influence of ballet is found in the tailoring of the gowns. Galia shares new methods of construction for flattering corsets were used throughout this collection as well as ballet-inspired necklines that reimagine the ballgown and full pleated skirts for a modern take on the tutu.
