Fresh New Fragrance

Fresh New Fragrance

This is the season when our desks are flooded with new scents, each seemingly more beautiful and alluring than the next. One of the best ones we’ve come across though has to be Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia by Estée Lauder, created by none other than Estée’s granddaughter herself, Aerin Lauder.

Fresh New Fragrance

The scent is floral, feminine and oh-so-perfect for your wedding day—it’s divine. What’s even more divine is that Weddingbells’ Sara Duck got a chance to get up close and personal with Aerin—who’s the senior vice-president and creative director for Estée Lauder—on Wednesday (the two are pictured left) when she was in Toronto at an exclusive appearance at Holt Renfrew to launch the special scent. Aerin, the essence of New York chic and the picture of elegance, was decked out in a little black dress paired with Louboutins for the in-store event, where she explained that she created Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia as an homage to her grandmother, who Aerin shared a special relationship with as well as a shared love of tuberose and gardenia flowers. “This fragrance is my tribute to her and the love we shared for these magnificent white flowers,” she revealed. Aerin was involved with her labour of love from start to finish, from picking the notes to finalizing the juice, the packaging and even starring in the scent’s ad campaign. Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia ($75, for 30ml) is available now exclusively at Holt Renfrew.
