Checking my Twitter feed this morning, it was all about Paris fashion week with the likes of Stella McCartney, Ungaro and Giambattista Valli showing in the City of Light today. One fashion journo tweet that caught my eye commented on Anna Wintour’s bodyguards look—pink shirts and ties. According to @jimshi809 “When Anna Wintour’s 2 bodyguards turned up @Rochas on Wed., 1 in a pink shirt, the other in a matching pink tie, you know the color’s in.” Agreed. So if it’s good enough for Anna’s men, why not suggest it as a choice for your groom on your wedding day?

Pink is actually one of the most flattering colours on men. Half the battle can be convincing your mister to give pink a try, and once he does, I guarantee he will see how fantastic and fresh I it looks on him. I was browsing Harry Rosen’s site this morning and saw tons of crisp pink shirts and ties in every colour ranging from fushcia to baby pink. I love this Salvatore Ferragamo ($190) gira silk tie. Great shade and a cool flora and fauna-inspired motif—très chic.
