Florence & The White Carpet

I'll be the first to admit that the MTV Awards aren't normally the first place you'd think to look for bridal inspiration (the fashion's usually a bit too flashy), but I can't stop thinking about Florence Welch's look from the red carpet (or white carpet in this case!). The lead singer of Brit band Florence & The Machine was simply flawless, and her classy Old-Hollywood gown and alabaster complexion definitely stood out amidst a crowd of rising hemlines and spray tans. I'm in love with her gold lace dress and matching clutch, and I can totally see something similar working for a fashion-forward bride. And don't even get me started on her performance ensemble! When Florence hit the stage she looked like a Pre-Raphaelite painting come to life! How gorgeous is this peach-coloured goddess gown? With a dress like this, all you need is a couple of bold cuffs and you're ready to walk down the aisle. Just imagine how beautiful this flowing gown would look on a beach...
