Fashionable Bride

  |   By Roseanne Dela Rosa

I was perusing Chapeau De Gateau’s (chapeaudegateau.com) blog the other day when I stumbled upon this beautiful silhouette all dressed up in Mokuba ribbon (I read it was supposed to be up for Mokuba’s, a ribbon store in Toronto, fall display). For those of you who are unfamiliar with Chapeau de Gateau, it is a company run by Alison, a part-time employee of Mokuba. Alison is a creative expert in incorporating beautiful pieces of ribbon into wedding items like your cake toppers, centrepieces and even place cards—you’ve definitely got to check out her site for great visuals!

Anyhow, back to this silhouette. I think it’s a beautiful and classic example of how something as simple as a hair accessory made of ribbon (love the vintage vibe it gives off, by the way) can look elegant with your wedding attire.
