Everything We Know About The Spring 2021 Designer Bridal Collections

This would be the week editors and buyers would be gathering in New York for a first look at all the fashion goodness bridal designers have dreamed up for Spring 2021. Of course, this year is an exception. New York Bridal Fashion Week is the latest casualty on the global runway circuit (also not happening are the resort 2021 shows in May and the menswear shows in June). While designers are indeed continuing to produce collections for next year, a few are  showing them virtually via photo collections while some have not yet been able to complete them due to the current world crisis and business shut downs.

We recently spoke with Canadian designer Ines Di Santo who gave us some insight into what we can expect from her spring 2021 collection. Her daughter Veronica who is a managing partner in the company shared as far as production goes, both the Ines Di Santo couture collection and diffusion line the Ines Di Santo Collection are almost complete and will be photographed and released very soon.

There are a few virtual presentations on our schedules for this week. Morilee hosted one with designer Madeline Gardner giving a sneak peek at pre-Spring 2021 designs; Justin Alexander will be hosting a virtual show; Daphne Newman and Eve of Milady have both released their collections virtually. Other labels include Galia Lahav, Berta, Amsale, Mira Zwillinger, have also released sketch previews. This is an evolving story and we will continue to follow it and publish the collections as we always do each fashion season to bring you the latest in wedding style.

The great news with the bridal market and designers is that they work a full calendar year in advance (this is to accommodate the made-to-measure schedule of gown production) so they do have a little extra time on their side to get collections in to market. While we have to wait a little longer to see what the new year has in store bridal fashion wise, the fall 2020 collections are now rolled out and there are some incredible trends that will no doubt carry into next season.
