Elizabeth Fillmore Spring 2016 Wedding Dresses

  |   By Lindsay Mar

Blending feminine designs with a sophisticated boho feel, designer Elizabeth Fillmore was definitely in her element when it came to crafting her 2016 Spring collection. Botanical imagery flourished throughout Fillmore’s stunning gowns, which saw floral lace detailing adorning delicate sheath dresses for a stunningly fresh effect. Fillmore captured her signature bohemian aesthetic through each of her lace designs, including a rose lace jumpsuit and a high neck silk gown donning floral lace cutout paneling and long sleeves. The collection, which Fillmore stated was inspired by model Poppy Delevingne’s chic, carefree style, also featured sleek looks ranging from a contemporary poppy flower beaded bralette design to a silk sheath dress complete with a corset bodice and black velvet ribbon accent. The line’s enchanting garden motif was in full bloom with dresses boasting colourful rose garden-inspired prints, which included a charming rose v-neck satin ball gown with a whimsical high-low hemline. Adding to the collection’s playful essence was an airy organza tea length frock fashioned with handkerchief-style layers, thin straps and sheer floral accents — perfect for the botanical garden bride.
