Day 58: Manolo Blahnik Design With Kate In Mind

It's not every day that you get five known designers to sketch a shoe just for you. Then again, it's not every day that you get to marry a prince. Luckily for Kate, she's got both. Inspired by the royal wedding, Manolo Blahnik, Giuseppe Zanotti, Rene Caovilla, Cesare Casadei and Georgina Goodman were all asked by Footwear news to design a sketch fitting for the princess. What did they come up with?

Shoe gorgeousness is what they created. Manolo sketched a gorgeous ivory silk pump with organza lilies of the valley and sea pearls (pictured above). “It represents springtime and everything fresh and new, which is what Kate Middleton is all about," Manolo shares with FN.

Now we know, not everyone has the ties and connections to have one in a million heels. And, not everybody has the budget for it.
