Day 51: McQueen's Wedding-Worthy Collection

Sarah Burton's latest collection for Alexander McQueen---which showed yesterday in Paris---did nothing to quell the rumours that she is the chosen designer for Kate Middleton's wedding dress. If anything, the parade of white, frothy gowns only added fuel to the fire. Kate reportedly got a taste for Burton's bridal aesthetic several years ago when attending the wedding of Sara Buys (who wore a Burton creation) and Tom Parker Bowles (William's step-brother). Furthermore, it has been reported that British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Alexandra Shulman suggested Burton when asked by Kate for her opinion. One thing's for sure, if Kate picks McQueen her dress will be bold and beautiful. I honestly can't think of a better way for her to support homegrown talent and show major fashion savvy.
