Designer Amsale Aberra brought her romantic, free-spirited vision to the runway with her latest collection for Christos. Staying true to the line’s timeless and destination wedding-friendly aesthetic, Aberra flawlessly infused her own unique twists into some of the season’s most coveted looks. Wistful and airy gowns dominated the collection, calling to mind the season’s innate light and fresh feel. Several impeccable looks boasted flowing skirts accompanied by traditional sweetheart necklines and delicate thin straps, giving gowns a classic yet youthful vibe. Showcasing this blend of modern sensibility and timeless appeal was a lustrous, off-white point d'esprit gown with an embellished bodice and embroidered skirt. Designs also showcased the beauty of contrasting textures and lush fabrics, with many of the collection’s pieces crafted from tulle, silk and lace. Youthful floral accents alongside crystal and beaded embellishments added a dynamic element to the collection, while soft lace overlays and delicate embroidery gave dresses a refined and classic aura.
