The Christos Spring 2014 bridal collection was all about effortless elegance from head to toe. Airy tulle ballgowns and fitted lace sheath dresses were worn with loose, beachy hair and natural-looking makeup---also, there were no accessories (jewellery, veils, etc.) to speak of. While the beauty look was breezy, the dresses themselves were intricate, embellished with crystals, pearls and petals. Some gowns boasted structured corsets layered with tulle, and others were free-flowing and unencumbered (perfect for a destination wedding). There were plenty of strapless necklines on display, but delicate cap sleeves, illusion necklines and lace V-necks provided more modest options for the modern bride.
