It's that time of year when you can feel Fall in the air---the September issues are on newsstands and the back-to-school commercials are on TV. If you're getting married this Fall or Winter, or even in the early spring, you might want to start thinking about how you're going to accessorize your wedding dress when the temperatures drop. Luckily for you, there are more bridal cover up options than ever before. We've noticed brides wearing everything from vintage fur stoles and country chic denim jackets to feminine cashmere cardigans over their wedding dresses. In other words, staying warm is no longer an afterthought (i.e. throwing a parka over your gown!) There are trendy toppers out there for every style of wedding (and wedding dress). One of our favourite fashion trends from the Spring 2013 bridal runway shows was the cape and capelet---these bridal coverups were spotted everywhere from Pronovias to Ines Di Santo so we know this movement towards staying stylishly warm up will keep going strong next season. If you're a springtime bride it's worth remembering that the conditions can still be quite chilly in April and May. You might want to start planning ahead and shopping for a shrug, jacket, cape or bolero to match your wedding dress while they're still in stores this fall! Here are 10 stylish bridal cover ups to consider.
