Wednesday night was the opening, with "Up" being the feature film. It's a milestone because it's the first animated and three-dimensional feature to open Cannes (put it on your date night flick pick when it hits theatres later this month). Hitting the carpet to check out the movie was actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (pictured) in her white Roberto Cavalli strapless ball gown—a dress we think is wedding worthy. Other fashionable mentions include Elizabeth Banks in a red one-shoulder Armani Privé, with glam curls. Other stars reportedly to make appearances in the coming days include Penelope Cruz, who knows how to do the red carpet, and Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp—two men who might influence your own man's wedding attire.
