Canadian Label Whyte Couture Has Launched An Amazing New E-Boutique!

As in-person appointments have become a challenge in the current climate, Whyte Couture wanted to bring the shopping experience to their clients and have made it very easy for you to find your dream dress (or dresses!).

We spoke to Jacyln Whyte, who co-founded the brand in 2011 with her mother Francesca Guzzo-Whyte, to learn more about the style philosophy behind the Whyte Couture label and how they have made wedding dress and veil shopping a breeze via the new E-Boutique.

Who is the Whyte Couture Bride?
“She is fashion-forward, modern yet traditional. She is definitely in tune with fashion and the latest trends but wants to keep her wedding day look timeless. She appreciates quality fabrics, design and all the fine details. All of our gowns are cut to order and handcrafted in Toronto.”

Can you share the creative inspiration behind the latest Whyte Couture collection?
“Our vision was to create a more simplified, curated line of wedding dresses than our couture gowns. The collection found in the new Whyte Couture E-Boutique was designed with luxury, comfort and affordability in mind, without compromising the quality of fabrics and good fit. We wanted to use classic silhouettes that are both flattering and timeless. We crafted all gowns from unique fabrics—lightweight delicately embroidered laces, silk organza and rich luxurious crepe—all in natural silk white tones. We have a variety of silhouettes, necklines and lengths. This collection was designed for ceremonies, reception parties, micro-weddings, destination weddings, or even your lavish engagement or shower dress. There are no rules in bridal and it is certainly not unusual for today's bride to have multiple dresses.”

Do you have a favourite dress in the collection? 
“We love the Mackenzie! It’s timeless and classy silhouette with a fresh modern floral lace. The tea-length is great if you want to show off a fabulous pair of heels!”

Tell us about the Whyte Couture E-Boutique.
“This is such an exciting launch for us! We offer free shipping worldwide on all gowns. As mentioned, everything is made in Canada and we recommend allowing four to 12-weeks for dress delivery, but if requested we can accommodate rush orders but the more time, we have with your dress the better! We have a size chart which easily explains how to accurately measure yourself to ensure a perfect fit. Sizes range up to 18 and we also offer customization on some designs. We were very mindful of the fabrics used for these gowns, sourcing some beautiful laces and rich crepe with Lycra. Gowns are lined with power stretch, stretch crepe georgette or luxurious stretch satin charmeuse allowing comfort, ease and a flawless fit. We also are able to customize the length of the train on some dresses and veils."
