Bridesmaid Dress

  |   By Roseanne Dela Rosa

Should I pay or should she? I’m in a few bridal parties this year and find this one of the trickiest subjects—especially from a bridesmaid’s perspective. Granted, I don’t mind paying for a dress that I personally like, but one that I loathe? I don’t know about that.

And, I hate to play the "R" card, but it is recession time, so finding a reasonably priced dress is OK, but to spend a couple of hundred dollars is a bit much. I met with my friend Alvie a few weeks ago, and she’s been super easy to deal with as a bride—lucky moi—I’ve heard tons of horror stories. Light coral is her choice, and I’m happy to oblige. This is a style that I loved from Priscilla of Boston last season. Anywho, I digress, so ladies tell me, who pays for the bridesmaid dress from your perspective?
