Hairstylist Tony Masciangelo, co-owner of Toronto’s Alcorn Hair, knows updos. "Weddings are, of course, a big part of what I do as a stylist," Masciangelo says. "In my career I have worked with hundreds of brides -- too many to count -- and my role is always to make the bride feel her most beautiful. In this era of social media and online connections, I receive many messages from past brides telling me how I played such an important role in their day and their wedding memories."
Masciangelo says the best wedding updos are classic and simple. "The updos I favour are unfussy, beautiful and clean. Less is definitely more when it comes to wedding hair."
Here are three of Masciangel0's favourite updo styles to create a runway-ready, red-carpet-worthy wedding day look.
