Berta Fall 2019 Wedding Dresses

  |   By Kate Mendonca

For Fall 2019, Israeli designer Berta Balilti showcased, not one, not two, but three collections for her namesake label. Each collection continued to break industry traditions, staying true to the designer’s convictions while showcasing fresh and exciting bridal fashion.

The MUSE by Berta collection is inspired by the designer’s own travels to Spain and Catalan, and the region’s rich culture and history. Fairy-tale details like soft shoulders, delicate cascading beadwork and airy fabric create a dreamlike aesthetic that’s heavy on the romance.

With the Athens collection, Berta has incorporated detachable pieces – a first for Berta bridal. Tulle, silk chiffon and illusion lace come together to create a glamorous and feminine appeal in this blend of traditional and modern silhouettes.

For Berta Privee, the designer has gone back to her roots for an haute couture inspired line based on the classic shapes that helped build the Berta empire.

Tying the three collections together is Berta’s expert attention to detail and barrier breaking styles. For the fashion forward bride looking to set trends rather than follow them, any of the Berta collections will do the trick.
