Beauty Reporter

  |   By Alison McGill

My weekend was all about experimenting with new beauty booty. I finally hit the new Bath and Body Works (six opened in Canada just over a month ago) and walked out with a shopping bag full of C.O. Bigelow lip gloss and Warm Vanilla Sugar everything.

The next morning I lathered, scrubbed and buffed, deliriously happy with my purchases. And the intense satisfaction that comes with testing new beauty products only got better when I decided to give the new Estée Lauder TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara a go. I’ve been waiting for this little gem to launch since August when I read about it in Allure. Last Tuesday, it landed on my desk, but I didn’t get a chance to try it until Saturday. One word: WOW! This magic wand is packed with good vibrations, the vibrating LashSonic brush to be exact. Twist and unscrew the cap and this baby fires up. Use the wand as you would one from traditional mascara, gently moving it along the length of your lashes—it applies the perfect amount. The result: super-dark, extra-lush lashes. When I asked my mom if she noticed anything different about my lashes she said, “Yes, they look fluffier.” Even my guy noticed, “Did you do something different? Your eyes look bigger.” Sold. Try it, you’ll love it, and you can get it now exclusively at Holt Renfrew.
