Always one to make a statement with their dramatic designs and daring presentation, designer duo Mark Badgley and James Mischka’s Fall 2015 collection once again brought bold, ultra-feminine styles to the forefront. The collection kept true to Badgley Mischka’s old Hollywood aesthetic and featured models donning exaggerated birdcage veils and gowns fashioned in curve-hugging silhouettes for a touch of retro glam. This signature look was exemplified with a gorgeous white lace fit-and-flare gown, complete with thick embroidered straps, soft sweetheart neckline and texturized golden floral accents. Other standout looks displayed throughout the collection included full, dramatic skirts paired with strapless, fitted bodices for a hint of regality. Immaculate beading, glittering necklines and 3D embroidered floral accents were also key additions to gowns, showcasing the duo’s flawless handwork and eye for detail. The collection also featured other hot trends of the season, including sheer cut outs and metallic embellishments, which complemented Badgley and Mischka’s sleek and sensuous designs.
