Amsale’s Fall 2015 collection was all about showcasing exquisite fabrics and melding textures. Working with Lyon lace, floral jacquard, silk and organza, designer Amsale Aberra crafted a collection that exuded unparalleled richness and depth in its designs. Known for her elegant and modern aesthetic, Aberra imbued her gowns with an air of simplicity and refinement, with dresses boasting classic silhouettes ranging from voluminous A-lines to sleek sheath cuts. Waist detailing was equally eye-catching, with several gowns donning cinched, paper-bag styles and ruffled, floral accents for a hint of whimsy. While lace appliques and delicate hand beaded details proved resplendent additions to gowns, it was Aberra’s use of silk floral jacquard that stole the show with its lustrous texturized effect.
