About the couple
Bride: Angelica Sigrist
Groom: Jordan Wilson
How they met: “Jordan attended the University of Windsor where I’m originally from and we met through mutual friends,” explains Angelica.
Engagement story: “Jordan, being a paramedic, was busy with work in Toronto while I lived in Windsor with my family,” Angelica recalls. “Jordan had made a surprise visit to Windsor. He left an envelope with a DVD and instructions on my kitchen table. The DVD was a composition of clips of our family members and their reactions to Jordan revealing the news that he would ask me to marry him. I watched the DVD in tears wondering if he was really requesting my hand in marriage through a video. When the video ended Jordan entered the room, got down on one knee and proposed. I said ‘yes’, of course, while wondering how he had pulled all of this off. We spent the day at the Detroit Institute of Arts Museum. After a long day of surprises, Jordan brought me home to one last surprise. All of our friends and family were waiting at my house for a surprise engagement party.”
