Maria and Daniel, who both grew up in large Italian families, were the first of their siblings to get married, so they knew there were great expectations for their glamorous wedding day. But they didn’t let that faze them when it came to planning their dream day—they had it their way. “Daniel and I wanted to incorporate our Italian culture into our wedding,” Maria explains. “But we wanted to do so in a way that was more modern, simple and us.” The two first found their perfect glamorous wedding venue to hold their 280 guests. “It wasn’t an easy task, but we eventually chose La Primavera,” Maria says. “I loved that we were able to decorate it with purple accents and make it look like it wasn’t a traditional banquet hall.” Draping parts of the venue in linen (from ceiling to floor), the newlyweds treated guests to a glamorous wedding celebration with small homages to their heritage, such the pasta-filled menu. “Our parents are still talking about how amazing our wedding day was—and Daniel and I couldn’t agree more,” Maria smiles.
