Wedding date: September 10, 2011
Wedding theme: DIY camp wedding
Best moment: “There are so many of them to choose from! Firstly, walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing Jeff waiting for me was an amazing moment. Another great moment was at dinner. We had the guests sing camp songs to get Jeff and I to kiss. It turned into a full-blown group sing along. It was a blast to see all of our friends and family acting silly and enjoying the evening,” says Amy.
Favourite detail: “I loved our photobooth that my dad and I worked so hard on as well as our canoe bar that guests could help themselves too. One more favorite thing was our guestbook. It was an old vintage water ski that our guests signed,” explains Amy.
Wedding song: “You Are the Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne. “Jeff and I are big Ray fans and try to see him every time he comes to Toronto. We love this song because it’s upbeat and fun but also has some slow and soft moments in it. Perfect for a romantic, yet fun first dance,” says Amy.
Honeymoon: Barcelona, Nice and Paris
