From the designer: When designing this cake I looked no further than my favourite wedding dress detail: ruffles. I am in love with ruffles in any shape or style. For this cake I wanted the ruffles to emulate long, flowing fabric on wedding dress skirts. This three-tier cake was first covered in white fondant and then the details were added. Fondant frills were created for the tall third tier and then fondant pleats were diagonally added to the second tier. I accented the cake with simple, yet beautiful frilly, edible sugar flowers in light pink and peach.
