From the designer: I love handmade sugar flowers and more often than not my designs are inspired by fresh bouquets. This particular cake emulates a beautiful yellow and white bouquet I stumbled across adorned with a navy blue striped ribbon. I love the freshness of the colour combination and, for me, the grosgrain ribbon gives the cake an almost nautical feel. The addition of anemones, with their bold black centres, also served as a nice contrast. This cake would suit many wedding styles, from a crisp, modern spring wedding to a romantic summer wedding by the water.
