Cake by Ganache Patisserie in Vancouver, British Columbia
From the designer: Inspired by the glam of the roaring ’20s, the lace appliqué trim and antique fondant brooch accentuate the vintage romantic feel of this cake while strings of fondant pearls adorn the top tier. Its classic off-white tone gives this cake’s overall look a timeless quality as the swags of fondant chains and long vertical ruffles accentuate the more modern architectural structure of its tiers. As a contemporary touch, the simple pearlescent middle tier is contrasted by a pop of colour from the gold-kissed dusky purple open gumpaste flowers.
