From the designer: This cake was designed to resemble the feather and fabric flowers on a Marchesa 2015 Spring gown that everyone was swooning over. With sugar paste blooms, I wanted to replicate the texture and composition of the way the florals laid at the back of the gown, almost as if they were dripping. Small, sparkly sugar beads and moulded leaf appliqués were used as accents. Inside is a fragrant lemon cake, filled with pink lemonade ganache and fresh raspberries.
