Cake by Paul Berthelot in Ottawa, Ontario
From the designer: This cake was inspired by a vintage teacup I found at a secondhand store a few years ago. It features fondant-covered layers with many handmade and painted sugar flowers and leaves. The traditional bride and groom topper has been left off in favour of a dramatic bunch of sugar flowers adorning a cake sphere. It is an example of modern design with traditional touches any bride can appreciate.
