From the designer: “The inspiration for this cake was the beauty and serenity of water and nature. I love the feeling of calmness that water and nature can inspire and felt that the powder blue of the cake nicely captured that, with the cascading and somewhat non-specific pattern of the edible pearls and light hand-painted effect embodying the flowing and random attributes of water. This cake would best be suited to a bride who appreciates the beauty found in nature, but also likes a bit of glamour. This cake is covered in a thin layer of fondant, and is decorated with sugar flowers, edible pearls and gum paste.”
