Cake by Bobbette & Belle in Toronto
From the designer: “For this design I was inspired by the shimmering look of sequins. They are a great way to incorporate the metallic trend and when the light reflects off the hand-painted dots they create a sparkling effect. The sugar flowers add a touch of colour and soften the look. This is a design that would work well for a wide variety of weddings, but would be particularly well-suited to a formal evening wedding. The flowers are handmade gum paste flowers that were then hand-painted. The “sequin” dots are also hand painted on the cake in edible 24 carat gold.”
